Editor Note for Journal Clinical Psychiatry and Cognitive Psychology
Sam Vaknin
The Journal of clinical psychiatry and cognitive psychology has made another developmental transition, a very healthy step forward. All manuscript management services will be web-based. This allows authors to submit and track the progress of their work as it goes through the review, decision making, and production processing. Reviewers will be helped by the remote access capabilities of this system as well as the ongoing tracking of the course of work that they have reviewed. This web-based system allows all of us on the editorial team to handle our part of the process expeditiously, efficiently and with even better oversight. And it allows our managing editor to keep a close watch over all of the work and all of us doing it. The objective of the AACPCP is to publish high-quality original research papers, survey reports, case studies, narratives, review article, short communication, clinical data, epidemiologic studies, thesis and relevant and insightful reviews. Every year we have published different volumes and different issues. The journal covers all areas of Mental Disorders, Neurocognitive Disorders, Dementia, Stress & Affective Disorders etc., with special focus on research pertaining to Neuroimaging, Psychotherapy, Cognitive Therapy, Behavior Therapy, and Psychopharmacology. All published papers are subject to the journal’s doubleblind review process. The topics for the 2019 year were varied and exciting. The current volume of the journal is 4 with issue 1.
