Pediatric idiopathic intracrnial hypertention Pitfalls in diagnosis and management

Pediatric Idiopathic intracranial hypertension (also called Pseudotumor cerebri syndrome- PTCS) is a rare disorder in children with incidence of 1-3 increasing to 12/28 per 100,000 based on various population groups. It is frequently considered as a diagnosis in children with headaches, papilloedema, high BMI with normal MRI and CSF investigations.
